Printing Techniques

Creativity and expertise in the service of visual identity. Our printing techniques enhance every material with sharp, consistent, and customized results.

Over more than forty years of activity, we have developed in-depth knowledge of the printing techniques best suited to the world of textile and leather accessories. Our production facility integrates various printing technologies, allowing us to work on materials of all types—natural, synthetic, regenerated, or bio-based—while always maintaining high quality standards.

We have in-house:

  • hot stamping machines, with or without foil
  • manual and automatic screen printing, including special inks
  • high-resolution digital printers
  • equipment for embossing, pad printing, and combined processes

This variety of tools allows us to handle both small sample productions and complex industrial batches, with speed and full control of every phase.

Each process is calibrated based on the material and desired effect, thanks to:

  • in-house graphic proofs
  • technical consulting on finishes, durability, and resistance
  • continuous aesthetic research on printing + embossing + color combinations

Relying on Panama Trimmings means being able to count on a flexible, advanced, and highly skilled printing department, capable of transforming every label, patch, or tag into a distinctive brand element.

Hot stamping

Definition, depth, elegance. Hot stamping is one of our most requested and representative processes: a timeless classic, enhanced by modern technologies and decades of experience.

Hot stamping is the most authentic and heritage technique among all those used in our industry. It is the most traditional form of customization, still chosen today by brands that want to communicate craftsmanship, tactility, and a lasting visual impact.

It involves pressing an engraved die onto a material, combined with heat, to imprint the design with a permanent effect, either blind or with foil. It requires a deep knowledge of materials, as every surface—leather, cotton, coated or technical materials—reacts differently to heat and pressure.

In our facility, we have numerous hot stamping machines, including several automatic lines, which allow us to manage both collection sampling and large-scale industrial production with fast turnaround times and consistent quality.

We produce labels, hangtags, patches, and decorative details on materials such as:

  • full-grain leather, suede, chrome-free
  • Viridis®
  • Jacron, microfiber
  • synthetic leather-effect materials

Available variants:

  • traditional hot stamping (blind embossing)
  • hot stamping with foil (gold, silver, black, pastel colors…)
  • combinations with HF embossing or embroidery

Our graphic and design department supports the client in defining the die, choosing the material, and creating the effect, ensuring a final result consistent with the brand’s style and perfectly executable on an industrial scale.

Screen Printing

Artisanal precision and color technology. With decades of experience and a complete in-house facility, we create screen prints on all types of materials, guaranteeing quality, color rendering, and reliability.

Screen printing is a technique that requires care, expertise, and precision. We have been practicing it for over forty years, with a specialized department that works every day to offer sharp, stable, and visually impeccable results on natural, synthetic, and technical materials.

We have various manual and automatic screen printing machines to ensure maximum production versatility, from sampling to large industrial series.

We use cutting-edge inks, including:

  • water-based inks (solvent-free), for sustainable projects
  • opaque, transparent, or special inks (rubbery, high-thickness, metallic effect…)
  • custom formulations to adapt to complex substrates such as Viridis®, microfiber, leather, Jacron, denim, and technical fabrics

The production of the screens takes place entirely in-house, as does the entire graphic workflow: our internal graphic department, equipped with the latest generation software, processes the graphics, simulates the yields, and prepares the files for photo-engraving.

We are able to reproduce:

  • any Pantone color with extremely high fidelity
  • customized matches based on samples sent by the client
  • tone-on-tone effects, sharp contrasts, or progressive gradients, depending on the material and the project

Thanks to perfect control over all phases — design, screen making, testing, printing — our screen printing guarantees consistency, constant quality, and reliable lead times, even for the most complex processes.

Digital Printing

Extreme precision, infinite possibilities. Digital printing is the ideal solution for achieving complex, multicolor graphics with extremely high resolution, even on difficult and flexible materials.

We use state-of-the-art digital printing systems capable of transferring designs, logos, and photographic patterns onto natural and synthetic materials with exceptional color fidelity and definition.

Our equipment works with specific technical inks designed to ensure:

  • resistance to domestic and industrial washing
  • optimal adhesion even on flexible surfaces such as leather, microfiber, synthetic materials, and Viridis®

This technology is particularly suitable for:

  • multicolor graphic labels
  • illustrations, textures, gradients, or photographic effects
  • prints on Jacron or coated fabrics
  • creative or seasonal projects, even in small runs

Among the most distinctive applications is digital printing on leather, subsequently waxed to create a visual and tactile effect reminiscent of vintage tattoos: an original, deep, and highly customizable result.

Digital printing is the most flexible technique and allows for extensive graphic customization even on materials where traditional techniques prove too rigid or limiting.

Thanks to our in-house graphics department, we support every project from simulation to printing, ensuring speed, precision, and maximum quality in the final result.
